I am delighted to be taking part in the Christmas exhibition of small works at Open Eye Gallery in Edinburgh. I am showing this little drawing made in the past few weeks, plus two on the posts below.
This is something I see a lot where I live in Scotland: a high peak puncturing a cloud. There are often cloud inversions, too. The soldering iron had a part to play in this one along with those paper discs you find in your hole-punching tray, and some glue and ink.
These drawings are very small, by the way: about 16cm square.
Welcome to my blog. I am an artist in Fife, Scotland, represented by the Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh.
I also work in design and illustration. Visit my other website under my nom de plume Binky McKee to see what goes on there.
PIC OF THE WEEK
It's often the details - a tiny section cropped out of a photo of our bedroom window, looking very Dickensian Christmassy.
