This drawing is on laminated tissue: about 7 layers of archive quality white tissue, glued together in laminates using a thick, matt Golden medium (the only medium I trust for work like this). Then I traced the cloud shapes I decided upon, pierced holes around the outline, and used the holes to stitch the cloud shapes using a needle and thread. I wanted the clouds to be a bit derpy, and it worked perfectly.
Thank you for reading,
A big cheery wave and best wishes to you all!
Welcome to my blog, where I share what I have been doing during the week.
I have at last copied my nom-de-plume Binky McKee blog entries from here to their own blog, having given the illustration website an overhaul. Peace and tranquillity may resume here in the somewhat quieter nature of Heather Eliza's work, while Binky has her own rather more colourful Weekly. Please visit Binky McKee if you would like to visit!
